#VickiesPicks: Best places to eat in Sierra Leone 2018
Freetown is actually a unique and up and coming food destination. So far this year I've spent the majority of my time working in Sierra Leone. This has translated to countless lunches and dinners from town to the Peninsular. If you have followed me at all, even for a day then you know, that when it comes to food, local bleisure, and grown up staycations, are what I live for.
There are key things I look for when I'm out to eat. The reception upon arrival, the wait time, the attitude and demeanor of the staff, the food (taste, presentation, creativity, freshness), value, and last but not least quality/consistency. Before deciding if an eatery is above the rest, it first and foremost has to be a place I visit more than once. If at first experience nothing pulls me back, then its not good period.
In no order here my top five places to eat in Freetown, capital city of Sierra Leone, or as I like to call it, land of you go soba.
