Money & Sense: Don't Spend it all on the look

Don’t spend it all on the look.

What I've noticed on social media over the past couple years is a movement away from reality and self acceptance to self aggrandizement and pretense . As more and more of us on the continent are getting access to the internet and becoming masters of sharing on social, the pressure to keep up appearances has also increased.

Whether its to have faces beat to perfection, and goddess eyebrows or trips to exotic places the "real" just seems to not have any value. I'm not saying you should be waking up and posting selfies with crust in your eyes, but we have to above all things remember that your originality is what makes you special.

If you're very rich and money is not one of your 99 problems by all means continue to floss, otherwise my advice to you, is don't spend it all on the look. You can fake the look for less for the gram, while you keep your money in the bank and make smart investments.
