How I Built A Marketing and Public Relations Agency in Sierra Leone

In less than ten days I’ll be hosting 200 leaders from Sierra Leone and North America at the Sierra Leone Diaspora Investment Conference. This gathering brings together Sierra Leoneans at home and abroad to create investment and development opportunities in their homeland. It connects the diaspora with government officials, business leaders, and entrepreneurs, offering panel discussions, and guest lectures from various sectors. The conference showcases innovative ideas and projects, fostering entrepreneurship and encouraging investment for job creation and economic growth. In summary, the conference harnesses the diaspora's skills and resources to drive investment, innovation, and socio-economic transformation in Sierra Leone.

For those who know my track record of doing, the scale of this investment conference will not come as a surprise. This is just how I do! I’m a leader who doesn’t ask for permission to do what needs to be done, I just do it! And then there’s the part where I’m the Serena Williams of Marketing Communications, the GOAT with the most, reaching millions of viewers online, and breaking news offline. I’m the paramount chief of digital salone loved by your children, your sister, your mama and your boss because when it comes to Sierra Leoneans no one knows you or loves you better and that’s on pap na morning, cookery na net.

There are only two marketing communications experts in Sierra Leone, Vickie Remoe and no one in particular.

As I write that with my full chest, I’m actually chuckling to myself because I know someone is going to read the above quote and catch feelings but they can argue with themself. The original line which I’m appropriating is from M.anifest “B.E.A.R.” and chale it applies! #Scorpionflow

If you head over to Youtube, you can finally watch the closing segment of a three-part documentary on my incredible decade-long journey of entrepreneurship in West Africa. In this new video I share my experience scaling Vickie Remoe and Company (VR&C Marketing) from Ghana to Sierra Leone. What was it that set me apart from the rest, the mistakes I made, lessons learned and how I recruited and trained my formidable team. Watch all that on more on my video: How I Built A Marketing and Public Relations Agency in Sierra Leone.
